Hello
Hello, it's Joh here.
Phew! It's been a busy few weeks here at Compelling Copy. Between work stuff and life stuff, I managed to miss sending last week's Marketing Muster. 😬
But I'm back this week with a bunch of interesting marketing reads to get you through to the weekend.
(Plus, a little bit about why I've been dragging myself out of bed at 6 am most mornings lately.)
Enjoy your week, Musterers.

My News
This March, I'm challenging myself to swim to save lives
After spending most of my adult life avoiding situations where I need to be in a swimsuit, I’ve recently rediscovered my love of swimming.
Which inspired me to throw away my usual worries about fatness (too much) and fitness (too little) and sign up to swim 20 km in March for Laps for Life.
Suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in Australia.
That's just not ok.
By supporting my Laps for Life challenge, we can help ReachOut Australia in their work to keep young Australians happy and well.
20 km is a lot for me. It means early mornings at the local pool (and those who know me know I am not a morning person).
So far, I've swum 6.98 km. Mostly in the pool, but this past weekend I ticked off a bucket list item with a swim in the chilly waters of Little Blue Lake.
I can't tell you how those morning sessions of black line mediation have made a world of difference to me over the past few weeks. And with your support, we can be part of making a world of difference to young Australians' mental health.
If you can spare a few dollars, please sponsor my swim. And if you can't, your moral support is warmly welcomed to keep me swimming through March and beyond.
🙏🏊♀️💙
