Welcome to the first issue of The Marketing Muster for 2021.

I'm still on holidays (whoop), so it's a short newsletter this week coming to you from the beautiful Clare Valley, South Australia.

I don't have a standing ovation in this issue, but I have an awesome brand lined up to showcase next week (I can't wait to tell you this story).

I hope you're getting back into the swing of things... this list of inspirational quotes for January is helping bring my focus slowly back to work while I enjoy the last lazy days of summer break with my babes.

What is Clubhouse?

Have you heard about Clubhouse? It's a new social media platform that hosts audio voice chats. (Kinda like Zoom, but without the video?)

It seems to be all anyone is talking about in online business groups lately.

Part of me is super interested as I am such an auditory learner (love me a good podcast).

But part of me is rolling my eyes at the thought of another social media platform. Especially one that may have issues with content moderation and the potential for online abuse.

But many people I like and trust seem to love it.

At the moment, you can only get in by invitation. And you have to be an iPhone user. As an Android girl, I'm happy to wait to see how I feel if and when it becomes available to me.

How's your summer break been? Is it all over too soon?

Despite my best intentions, I have yet to finish a book or clean my house (don't judge, but my Christmas tree is still up... well half up).

But I have spent a lot of time swimming in the ocean, catching up on podcasts and playing with my kids (which were the real goals of this break).

I have one more week of summer fun planned, then it's time to kiss my sleep-ins goodbye and get ready for the return of the school/work routine.
