Last week, I gave a masterclass in Kate Toon's The Clever Copywriting School community and I was blown away at how well it was received by my fellow copybeasts.
It was about competitor research for copywriters.
I talked about how to find and analyse the keywords your competitors are ranking for. How to review their backlinks to inform your own backlink strategy. And how your competitor's reviews give you incredible insight into the motivations and language of their (who could be your) customers.
How do you build competitor research into your marketing work? And how do you use those insights to make what you do better than what they're doing?
